During the past years, several distinguished doctoral theses of young Czech scientists at Saxon universities have been published in German. Since their topics are often of transnational interest, it would be desirable if some of them could be published in Czech as well. In doing so, more attention would also be paid to Czech as a language of science. Similarly, distinguished Czech publications should be translated into German. Due to the fact that such translations are usually rather expensive, they are rarely done.
In addition to that, financial support for the printing of publications on Saxon-Czech issues is provided, without which some works might remain unpublished.
