Preparation of Joint Courses of Studies
The development of a concept for cross-border curricula is another innovate sub-project of STHI. The design of joint courses of studies, which are successively introduced by the Bologna process, shall be fostered.
The background of this scheme is the challenge of Saxon and Czech universities to restructure the courses of studies and, hence, to assure a better compatibility of higher education between the two countries and throughout Europe. An exchange of experience can positively influence this development. Saxon and Czech professors should become motivated to develop joint concepts. The long-term objective of it is the implementation of joint courses of studies which will be ideally completed with a double degree.
