In almost every sub-project, the emphasis is laid on practical relevance in order to show students of business sciences, social sciences and the humanities potential development opportunities for their future professional career. Furthermore, it is intended to keep young professionals in the border area. In this way, STHI contributes to a regional development on both sides of the border.
Considering the current situation on the job market, the issue of business start-up plays a vital role for young university graduates in both countries. Therefore, specialists will be invited who will talk about chances and limits of business start-ups and provide prospective entrepreneurs with valuable advice on their way to self-employment. In the course of the STHI project, several seminars on business start-up are scheduled both in Saxony and in the Czech Republic. These seminars can be also integrated into symposia and alumni meetings.
